On November 7 at St Ann’s Episcopal Church, Sayville, trainees will spend the morning working with clergy from the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. They will be training to be lay eucharistic ministers/visitors. Upon successful completion of this course, trainees will be certified and licensed to visit people in private homes and care facilities, taking communion to those who cannot attend church.
