Bereavement Group Ministry
Our group is now meeting the first Thursday of the month at noon in the Conference Room. It offers support to those dealing with the death of a loved one or any other type of grief or loss. Please call the church office for more information. 631.286.0299.

Easter Sunday, April 5, 11:30 am, Easter Egg Hunt, East Lawn
Come children, one and all, to our once a year Eggstra-ordinary Easter Egg Hunt on the East Lawn. Plenty of eggs filled with toys and goodies for all ages. Rain or shine…we hope it will shine! We will have a “Bunny Garden” for the littlest children. Rumor has it the Easter Bunny will make an appearance. All children in the community are welcome—Happy Easter everybody!

He Is Risen! Our most joyous day of the year begins in the sanctuary at 8 am, Rite I service, and continues with 10 am, Rite II Service. Our most delightful coffee hour is in Rand Hall immediately after 10 am service with an Easter Egg Hunt on the East Lawn for children; parents can enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids scout out treasure. Easter Sunday, April 5, 6 am Sunrise Service at Bellport Dock
Bellport residents and parishioners from local churches will gather at sunrise on Easter morn for an Eccumenical Church Service at The Bellport Dock. It is a special time to celebrate the Risen Christ with your friends and neighbors as the sun comes up over Bellport Bay. Father Elliot Conrad is preaching.

Maundy Thursday, April 2, 6 pm St. Andrew’s-Yaphank
We gather at 6 pm in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Yaphank, to share an Agape meal with the other parishioners of our Deanery. If possible, please bring a simple dish to share similar to foods eaten in early Jerusalem (olives, beans, nuts, dates, figs, honey, wine, grapes, cheese, pita, hummus, bread and soup, etc.). Holy Wednesday, April 1, 7-8 pm, Tenebrae Service
A deeply spiritual and moving worship service of Holy Week, Tenebrae, derives from the Latin meaning “into the Darkness.” Antiphons and responses are sung, scripture passages are read and candles are extinguished until the sanctuary is dark. The service ends with a “crashing” sound. Worshippers depart silently into the veil of night.
Palm Sunday, March 29, 8 and 10 am Worship
Palm Sunday services begin at 8 am and 10 am. Handbells and piano will begin the 10 am service in Rand Hall followed by the Liturgy and distribution of the palms by children. This is an annual Fundraiser event for LI Resound, the premier community handbell group on Long Island. Entrance Fee is $20 for 3 Bingo Cards plus snacks & drinks. Additional cards may be purchased. Raffle baskets, prizes and fun! Funds that are raised help cover the cost of handbell maintenance, supplies and equipment.

Shrove Tuesday, February 17, Evening Prayer & Pancake Supper 6 pm
Evening Prayer begins in the Sanctuary at 6pm. Then join us in Rand Hall for food and fellowship at our Shrove Tuesday Supper. Hot pancakes dripping with butter and syrup, juice, bacon-all the fixins’. We’re cleaning out the “larder” before Lent begins tomorrow!
